The text "A Brave New World" offers insight to Occupy. "Occupy has become a state of mind, of heart and spirit that we each must take on and spread through daily individual and collective actions." (Cypis, Page 5) It is a movement that started with tents, and a problem. The last two pages she greatly sums up an idea of community that many of us can get behind. She discusses man versus man, and overall just becoming human.

Final Project

My idea for the final project is to do a painting. I'm in the animation school but I'm also heavy into 2D fine art as well. I want to interview people of different backgrounds, of different ages. In doing so I want to channel what they say into a painting style of my choosing. To create something beautiful, and meaningful.
